How to re-install windows xp

Hi I have mistakenly downloaded windows 200 professional on my computer. Now i can't access messenger live nor my e-mail. It seems as though i can't access nothing since i i downloaded this window. How can i get windows xp back onto mu computer as it was before? Thanks!!

please give more information

as downloading that doesn't make any effect on the

system unless you format it from a cd

without the proper information i cannot suggest anything to you
