there are a couple of ways.
1. a. set up your printer on the connected pc. Set it as shared
b. go to the other computers and add printer,
c. select 'local printer attached to this computer' click next
d. then 'use the following port' in the dropdown box should appear the printer that you have shared
from the other computer it will appear along the lines of \\comptername\printer name. click next
e. it will then ask you to install the drivers. do this for the printer that you have installed (you will
need the drivers files on the computer to install it.
f. once the drivers have installed you will be able to print to the printer connected to the first pc.
g. repeat for all other computers on network.
Pros - no other hardware needed
cons - the host computer needs to be on when using the printer from another pc.
2. buy an adapter that connects to your printer that enables you to connect it to a router/hub. this will allow you to use that printer regardless of which computer is on.
The adaptor allows you to give your printer an ip address. the add printer process needs to be carried out on all computers, but this time select networked printer and select the ip address givven to the printer.
the adaptors are relatively cheap to buy, no more expensive than a medium sized hub/switch
