Local disc not opening

Hello,
Sir,My local disc F shows free space of 6 GB out of total 40GB but when i try to open it shows' F:\is not accessible.The file or directory is correpted and unreadable.When i try to open my local disc D & E it shows "The disc in drive D is not formatted.Do you want to format it now." for both disc D & disc E.What i do? Plz help
