GTA IV runs only once/1 installation

Hello,
i have the original GTA iv, after installing and registring it..it only runs 1 time, after i quit, it wont run again...unless i uninstall it, and install it again so it runs!
note:my pc specs match the requirments...and the game runs fine!(i have xp sp3,intel core 2 duo E 6750 @ 2.66 Ghz, 3 Gb of ram,Nvidia GeForce 8500 GT (1 Gb).

so please can any one help??

hi there,

make a system restore on your machine to few days before

then reinstall the application and also update the direct X

Just re-install windows and then it should work fine !
