Daily Stock Backup

Hello,
I am trying to create a daily stock book from the consolidated monthly stock book 'stock-dept.xls'. The daily stock workbook name should correspond to the date 'ddmmyyyy'.xls

Alternately, the daily stock should be updated in the workbook 'monthlystock.xls' with worksheets named as per the date 'ddmmyyyy'.

Please advise

do you want it different workbooks or different worksheets?
in which column and in which sheet of stock.xls the date appers.?
