After the Install

Hello, I took your advice and was able to install Windows XP pro on the computer after changing the setting in the BIOS. After installing the OS i try changing the SATA settings from IDE back to AHCi. I get a BSOD with 0x0000007b which has something to do with the HDD controller drivers. Do i have to keep the setting at IDE for the new OS to work. I have search for new drives and could not find any. Let me know

Dear MON,

Try looking for the drives manually and see whether you find them.

If you don't find them, install them again.
