Hp dv6000 sound recorder missing

Hello,
i am using hp dv600 for the past 3 years, and i used to record my voice, and songs from outside source to the system and so on, but for the past 10 months this sound recorder from the system is missing, i can find only the icon on the start menu, but there is software anymore in the system, i don't know how it get disappeared, please let me know what can i do bring it back into the system, can i download it from somewhere,please help
