LG EnV2 Problems

I bought an LG EnV2 with Koodo Moblie and I'm trying to connect it to my computer with a USB cord. I downloaded the driver software, but my computer still won't recognize my phone as a portable storage device. Even the BitPim software won't acknowledge it. I need help!

hi there,

well what is the purpose for connecting it to pc?

is it for data transfer or internet browsing?

please give more information

it is for data transfer. and everytime i hook it up via usb cable the phone shuts off and the inner screen (phone opened up) says "Battery is Required". Don't know what to do at this point.....
