i have hp dv4 1040 laptop,i have a problem,my finger print reader is not working,please how to fix it?

hi there,

go to device manager

expand the list

and check if the driver is still there or missing

update it or reinstall it

hi,
iam using compaq cq45,it has finger scanner.but it is not working.i have drivers for this,but it is not installed properly.windows vista ultimate is used in my laptop.
plz reply me what to do?
