I am trying to format my toshiba sattilite p-105. When I put the recovery disk in and boot from the cd rom, the cd starts to run like it is supposed to. Then I get a message stating that it cant recognize the model # and to enter it in. I do and it is saying that it is the wrong model #. Do this 3 times all together and then it gives me a gray screen and says in big letters WRONG MACHINE! then I press ok and it closes down. I have tried all machine # that I can think of and in case sensitive ways. I called toshiba and they said someone changed my motherboard but I have never sent it to a comp. store except toshiba to have it fixed. Can anyone help me please????
