Install a web camera

Hello,
I have a lap-top of the type Asus Eee Pc 900 SD. There was a file on my computer which contained a web camera. But it disappeared a week ago and no one can see me when I'm chating. I guess it has something to do with installing or downloading. I have tried it but there is no free offer for downloading a web camera. Can you please help me ?
