How to find network adapter in laptop

Hello,

I cant able to detect my wireless network adapter in my laptop. where network adapter located in the laptop. how can I find it. it is in built or it is externally connected with laptop can I see that in my laptop? or I cant able to see that? it is like memory card or inbuilt device? I need more details about network card. please give suggestions.
