Problem with i pod

Hello,my i pod doesn't want to turn on .when i turn it on the screen just stays black. also its like frozen. please help me

Dear Sir,

The first advice that I will ask you to let it charge for some time and see whether it works properly. If it still

doesn't work please consider resetting it, it will work definitely then. You will have to press the home and power

button together for some 15 seconds to reset it.
