Slow download speed n connection speed

Hello,
I have a huawei modem with BSNL wirless connection. it shows speed at the time of connection of 230kbps.
but run very slow adn download also upto just 6kbps.
please help me.


i have bitcomet 1.15 and it does not gives me downloadind speed...........
i




configuration: window XP sp2
ram: 192MB
processor: pentium (R)D 2.66 GHz
