I cant install xp on my hp pavilion dv2000

Hello,

guyz i have a problem, im installing windows xp sp2 on my hp pavilion dv2000 but when the installation of the windows starts.. it says internal error and asking me to contact the system administrator..

i cant use my hp laptop because it has no os on it.. please help me..

Hi there,

first disable sata/native mode in bios setting

and make cd/dvd priority boot

then insert your windows installation cd and start installation

and follow onscreen instructions
