Hello,

When they were first released,I bought a Pixma MP480 Multi purpose printer & have been pleased with it's performance.

Shortly after buying it I went to buy a spare pair of ink tanks, B50 & Cl51 but could not get them in Townsville, I then tried Ebay, again without success. A Google search said that Pixma cartridges 210 Black &
211 Colour were also suitable for the 480. I was able to get these on Ebay from US, & stored them until today when I inserted them in my machine, which would not recognise them, and so, would not print.

A phone to Canon Service was of no help as, though they had a listing for these tanks they had no experience of them here. It looks therefore that I will have to dump them (they are not cheap either) and get a 50/51 set which are now readily available. Unless of course, some helpful person can offer a nother suggestion. Here's hoping!

Hello,
Read this, carefully : http://www.jettec.com/canonic.asp ...
Regards.
Probably.. you were confused MP 480 with MP 180. I guess 210 Black and 211 Colour are only for MP 480. You should've bought BL 59 and CL 51.
