Songs to phone

Hello,
I have an I touch LG Verizon phone. I downloaded the software to put music on it. I have a micro chip in my phone and I also have an adapter for the chip that plugs into the computer. I was able to pull the music off the chip but I can't get it on my new phone. I do not have a usb cable for my new phone. Lost it. Can I pull music off the chip once it's in my new phone???
