My computer freeze when i play pc games

Hello,
why does my computer freeze when i play pc games?
RAM problem? O.S? or Registry problem?
my computer is xp professional and i transform it to vista...
Intel(R) 992mb of RAM, Pentium 4 CPU 3.00GHz
please help me... i dont know the problem...

hi there,

increase your ram

add more 512Mb or higher size and check requirements to play the game
