Hello, I need help with watching movies and video on my hp pavilion laptop. i am using a vga cable attached to a 42 inch olevia lcd t.v. I would like to know how I can mirror the monitor on the laptop and the t.v. I also need to know how to get audio through the t.v. speakers. I really would appreciate any help anyone could provide.
Thanks in advance.

You will need a cable with RCA jacks on one end and a headphone jack on the other. Try Radio Shack. you connect the RCA jacks to the TV's Audio IN jacks. That's assuming the TV has RCA inputs.

The Function key controlling Video out should toggle to a setting that displays the screen on both laptop and monitor. Fn + F3 is the most often used keys.

Good Luck
