Downloadind service pack 1 for vista

Hello,

My computer OS is vista Ultimate, and an updating massege told me that there is an important update, when checked the update i found it was the service pack 1 as i remember,

My question is: Will i lose my files if i download this update?
and is it important to download it?

hi there,

if you keep you system updated to latest one

its better for you and the pc

as precaution make a backup as sometimes it happens that

after an update there are many malfunctions of the pc

and a restore point will be automatically created

so you can roll back the installation anytime
