Help with my factory system restore

Hello,
i just recently factory restored my emachine T5254 right before i did it it gave me an option to safe restore or just restore. The safe restore said it would take all my files , pics, music ect. and save it to a drive so i can get it back when it was done if i wanted. I was needing help getting those files or did i just make a mistake and misread the options?

hi there,

you should have made a backup before proceeding

but you can recover the files by using recovery tool
