LCD monitor greens out but okay after reboot

Hello,
My desktop has a Acer LCD monitor and a CPU i put together. It has been working fine for the past 2 years but recently my monitor would suddenly green out or orange out completely. But once i press the reboot button on my CPU everything returned to normal.

Most recent, my screen black out but i can still see the mouse cursor. Again when i rebooted everything returned to normal.

Any idea as to whats going on?

this may be a problem with either your graphic

card or the screen itself

make a hardware test

download the software from link below:
