if you type this into the cell where you wish the answer to be
=A2-A1
this will take the cell A2 and subtract Cell A1
or
= sum(A2-A1)
achieves same result
=A2-A1
this will take the cell A2 and subtract Cell A1
or
= sum(A2-A1)
achieves same result
