Dvd driver problem

Hello,
Sir i have sony vaio VGN-CR203E model laptop, when we put the cd into the dvd rw then it is not detected, only write option is shown. please suggest what we will do.

Dvd decoder - Download - CD and DVD
Driver booster 9 - Download - Cleaning and optimization
Driver detective - Download - Cleaning and optimization

clean the lens of the drive

this can be done by using a lens cleaner

Dear Sir

is it possible only dvd read but cd not. i have same problem with my laptop what is the solution?
