Snow Leopard Installation Problems

Hello,

I am trying to install snow leopard on my 14" Apple Ibook G4 laptop. When I turn the computer on, I hold the option key on the keyboard to provide me with booting options, but the Mac OS X 10.6 Install DVD does not show up only the Primary Hard Drive. I also tried installing it via Remote Install but it did not pick it up. I was wondering if I can install Snow Leopard onto this machine or is there something that I am missing. Thank you

10.6 requires an Intel CPU - I think the G4 uses a PowerPC CPU.
