try it seems that bad clusters in it. pls run NDD or similar to repair it. if not work that means your disk is broken.

well.........ok some details i left behind is that its a samsung sata 2.5" hard disk. model HM160HI.........i ve run a diagnostic tool that i found on the samsung website (ESTOOL) and evertything was ok. windows xp installation didnt recognize the disk neither windows 7 installation. i ve tried loading the drivers of the disk from a cd or a usb during the installation but nothing was workingand i m not sure that i ve found the right drivers.
