Can ping my router but can't ping my PC

Hello,

I have just bought a new laptop- Thnikpad SL410.
all i wanted is to connect it to my Home Pc's printer.
I have a Edimax router, and by using it i managed t'o connect my laptop to the internet wireless, so i thought myself there will be no probelm sharing the printer... well, there was.

after planty of research the situation is as follows:

1. the laptop and the PC ping to the router.
2. the PC pings to the laptop
3. the laptop simply doesn't want to ping to the PC!!!

i have disabled all firewalls and almost every other suggestion i could have found on the net.
all i wanted is sharing the printer...

please HELP

Think there is still firewall on that PC blocking the ping traffic, you can check antivirus, antispyware or other security software too, and disable firewall feature if it's found.
