Hello,
How to access 2 Different LAN Connection with a same PC?
I have a laptop which is connected to internet connection by LAN.I also play games and share files with another laptop connected with this laptop by Ethernet Crossover cable. But my problem is each time I connect to internet and then connect to another PC I have to change the IP address (for different LAN setting for Internet & PC to PC LAN connection). Is there any other way so that I can get rid of this problem? Please Help......
My internet connection works with a particular Preferred DNS Server address , but the PC to PC connection does not use any Preferred DNS Server address. So it does not connects with another PC but connects fine with internet. Is there still any hope????????
Please Help..........
Can the PC to PC connection be configured with the help of same Preferred DNS Server address that my internet connection uses??????

You can purchase a USB Ethernet adapter and use it to connect for gaming. It is possible to have more than one Ethernet card on a PC.

Good Luck

I have some sort of a similar problem. My problem is that my computer has internal Lan. It is meant for other network. I have installed a Lan card for my new network. Basically, I have 2 Lan Ports in different Netwoks.

The problem that I encountered is that the new Lan card is very inconsistent. One time, it worked and communicate but just today, pinging is not working. The status of the new Lan card is "working properly" but it won't communicate. It doesn't blink.

Thank you
