How to install kaspersky 2009 in windows7

Hello,
I have a setup file of kis 2009 but i am not able to install in my computer

That link is for KIS 2010, I am having the same problem with Windows 7 and KIS 2009. Any resolution for this regarding the 2009 version or is solely a compatibility issue?

I had the same problem, I installed my KIS2009 on my Win7 computer and it couldn't start the Anti-virus and some other stuff, but i downloaded KIS2010 trial from Kaspersky and during the install it said that they found a product key already installed and they used the same 2009 key for my license. It's showing that I have one year of KIS2010 even though the key was for 2009.
So I suggest you go through the activation process of your current copy and then download the KIS2010 trial, hopefully the same thing happens for you.

Thank you Shan, it worked for me! I downloaded KIS 2010 trial and it accepted my 2009 key that was already installed.

they will atcually upgrade you free of charge, until the end of your 2009 license, which is fab!!

If you go to https://www.kaspersky.fr/downloads you'll see that in the left frame it's written:

Windows 7 compatible

Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010 are now fully compatible with Microsoft’s newest operating system. Read more

Free update: for users who already have a valid license and would like to download a Windows 7 compatible version, click here.

When you click you can get the new version for free and it will recognize your current license and activate your software with the same activation code.

go to their site, it will let you upgrade free of charge, untilthe end of your 2009 licence. bit tricky to find though!
