Has anyone tried N.T. Password and Reset?

Hello,
I forgot my Vista Admin. Pawword and can't access that profile... I tried the Safe Mode way but does not work, so I tried the N.T. Password and reset CD disk. My ACER can boot from the CD just fine.

there are two selections that I can select, it looks like this:

Candidate Windows partitions found:
1: /ev/sda2 45696213m BOOT
2: /ev/sda3 20646874654m

Please select partition by number or
q = quit
d = automatically start disk drivers
m = manually select disk drivers to load
f = fetch additional drivers from floppy / usb
a = show all partitions found
l = show probable Windows (NTFS) partitions only
Select: (1)

I can't chose number 1, when I do this is what comes up:

Mount: mounting /ev/sdaz on /disk failed:Invalid
ERROR: mount failed! Try select again or another

Please help!!!!!!!!
Am going crazy trying to figure this out.
