Can't complete itunes download

Hello,
I've just bought an ION Contour LP turntable, in rder to convert my vinyl to MP3. When purchasing this I was told it was easy to get going, I've been at it for about 3 hours now. When drying to complete the ITunes download it nearly completes but come up with an error message saying that Quicktime could not be downloaded and the error code is 2738. Could anybody advise me what is wrong?
