Unable to do telnet when 2 nic cards in a pc

Hello,
i have 2 nic cards in the same m/c with 2 different IP, when i am trying to telnet to a port of the older nic card, i am able to get, but when i try to do telnet to the same port of the new nic card, am getting error as "Could not open connection to the host, Connection Failed". and all ports in both the IPs are open

Can any one help on this?

hi there,

you must connect the second nic

and do not connect both nic at same time
