Hello,

I have an old dell desktop and few days ago I had a problem on it. I can't turn it on and when I turned it on it shows this message:

A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer.

Run CHKDSK/F to check for hard drive to check for hard drive corruption.

Technical information:

***STOP: OXOOOOOO7B (OXF8B87528,OXCOOOOO34,OXOOOOOOOO,OXOOOOOOO)

Then I tried some suggestions here but it won't work. I tried to run a Windows XP SP3 cd on it. and when I turned it on the windows will load and then stop then it will show the message to select:

SAFE MODE
SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING
SAFE MIDE WITH COMMAND PROMPT
LAST KNOWN GOOD CONFIGURATION
START WINDOWS NORMALLY

If I click one of them nothing will happen it will just load then turn to the blue screen with this message

tal>A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer.</ital>
Run CHKDSK/F to check for hard drive to check for hard drive corruption.

Dear Sir,

Please access to your account in safe mode and

hence carry out a system restore to see if the problem

gets fixed.

Thank you.
