Problem dowloading java script

Hello,
I cannot seem to activate Java Script when using Hotmail or Yahoo. I cannot dowdload any attachments sent to me be friends. mY computer,WINDOWS VISTA, KEEPS SENDING ME A MESSAG THAT I MUST HAVE JAVASCRPT??? i HAVE TRIED TO DOWNLOAD INFO FROM gOOGLE BUTTO NO AVAIL? WHAT CAN I DO?

Just try this link https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp it should work now.
