Update screwed up my computer.

Hello,

i ran windows update, updated a few things and turned off my computer without restarting. today when i turned my computer on, the only thing on my desktop is the recyccle bin and everything is missing. most of my programs get a runtime c++ library error and all of my things on the desktop and start menu is missing. can someone help me?

try to restore your computer at an earlier time this should help you but however if it doesnt work then try to repair the windows
