HP Pavillion Ze5700 laptop power problems

I have a HP Pavillion Ze5700 and i was watching a movie and i fell asleep, so it ran all night and in the morning I tried to shut it down but it must of froze during the night, so i tried holding the power button to shut it down that way but it wouldn't shut down so then i took the battery out and it finally shut off. I then put the battery back in and it wouldn't turn back on... Does anyone know what i should do?

hi there,

remove battery as you did

press power button

then remove memory stick and clean woth the help of an eraser

then reseat all as before and plug your adapter and press start
