Failure to be recognized to my pc

Hello,
am happy to write to u. I need your help,i have a flash disk 8 GB Model Intel,whenever i store any data in it works but when i try to open it using ma pc at home it usually shows nothing what will be the problem?pliz assist.

Are your usb port 2.0, did you update your pc to service pack 3 ?
