cannot access net through iphone wifi Closed

Hello,
i am using an iphone 16gb. i have a bsnl connection that comes with a wifi modem. its a broadband conection but to connect it i use a dialer(like dialup connection) giving user name and password.my iphone catches the wifi but cannot access internet.i suppose i need to type in the password and username somewhere. plz tell me how to access net from my iphone in this situation.

is there some way you can force the modem to stay onine automatically all the time? what happens if you don't have dialer software. Sounds weird!!! Gd lk!

yea good idea..that'll solve the problem..but its not a software...its a dial up connection which requires and username ...i am seriously confused
