Mail.com not working with my iPhone Solved/Closed

HELP! I keep being told "The connection to the server pop1.mail.com failed" when I try & access my mail.com emails using my iPhone. It's been working up until now...AAAH! Any ideas??

Try these settings:

Incoming server imap.aol.com or imap.aim.com
Outgoing server smtp.aol.com or smtp.aim.com, port: 587.
Username is your mail.com address.
Password is your mail.com password.

Actually in the email from Mail.com when they changed their internet platform they said that you now have to access it via the web:

www.mail.aol.com

Weird that they liked up with AOL but it works!

Please help I don't know what changed however I can not send email to anyone when using my iPhone under hotmail.com. Gmail is fine. 
Tell me what to do.
