Mapping jpeg name to excel database

Hello,

I've got a folder with a number of jpeg pictures each named after employee names. i need to rename with full names (First Middle Last Name) by lookin up an excel database which holds this data.

the picture names are either named with a combination of first name only, or first name second name or second name only.

i need to take the picture name and search it through the excel database which has 3 columns holding 1st, middle and last name and then rename the picture with the name from excel.

any help wud be much appreicated.
