Usb speed

Hello,
this is dinesh.....i've an usb pen drive of 4 gb. I've an problem that, my usb doesn't work at high speed, when i transfer some file, it takes so many times, and when i inserted my usb on any computer or lapots, there is a message came out that your usb can perform faster if u insert it in 2.0 high spped port. My usb drive works so poor...........what can i do........plz any body help.
