Samsung wb500 ...uploading photos?!

Hi, I've recently been bought the Samsung WB500 for my birthday a few days ago, and I am having real trouble trying to transfer my pictures from the camera onto my laptop. I feel so stupid not being able to, and im sure its something very simple!! my previous camera, allowed me to just remove the memory chip and put it in my laptop and then extract the photos. ive used all the wires that have come with it and none appear to work; I've lost the manual!! haha..after two days: i'm really not good at this! if anyone has any idea as to how I can solve it I would be so greatful :D x
