Slow gprs

Hello,
sir i am sujith from kerala, i am using airtel gprs,and i use my nokia 5310 phone as a modem for my pc.
but my browsing and downloading speed is very low(1kb/s).please give a sollution for increase my gprs speed...........................................................................................................................................
