Same problem Browsers will not open

Hello,
My issue is the same or similar, I have an inspiron 1525 Dell Laptop. I have connection to the router. Can open things like yahoo messenger and connect. But if i try to open IE or FF it will not even ope. It looks like it wants to try but never even brings up a page. It was working normally just yesterday. Any suggestions. Lisa

Maybe it's domain name or URL resolving problem caused by DNS servers. You can use nslookup to try resolving domain name/URL, it it fails then you can try to configure free DNS servers provided by OpenDNS or Google, after that try again.
