Copy from one excel spreadsheet to another

Hello,
I have 2 separate excel documents. 1 is formatted horizontally, first name last name phone email, etc. The 2nd document is formatted vertically, first name last name phone email, etc. How can I easily transfer the data from the 2nd to the 1st? It is not formatted for simple copy and paste.
