Can't get rid of my computer virus

Hello,
I have anti virus programs and everything but the virus doesn't let me open anything i download. I can't get to the programs i have bought so how do i get rid of the viruses?

Dear DJ,

Please press CTRL+ALT+DEL and stop the virus manually.

Then carry out a virus scan and have the virus deleted.

This should solve the problem. Also check whether it is simply

not your firewall that is causing this difficulty.

How do i stop the virus manually? If it is by opening task manager, it is not letting me open that either because it says it is infected. I have a pop up every couple seconds saying something can't open because it is infected. I can't really open anything but the internet.

Dear DJ,

By stopping it manually, it is actually meant that you

open the processes tab in the Task Manager. Identify

the inhabitual and unknown processes that are running

and end the process. This will hence terminate the

virus actions.
