Invalid product key

Hello,
i have the product key in back side my laptop.but now my system has some problems,when i go to open my system, its begins to boot and it ask windows password,when i enter my password my desktop came and automatically its goes to log off,then i repair my xp home edition with my product key,but when i am entering my product key its shows invalid product key,please reply me.

Please contact the distributor or directly the manufacturer

in order to obtain the right product key.

If you are using a retail Windows CD then the OEM key from your laptop will not validate.
