Processor stops working

Hello,
I have an intel pentium IV processor and i took it out for about five hours while i tried it in another pc but when i placed it back in my computer it stopped working. I am now not seeing any lights on the computer and the monitor is not detecting the computer. can someone help diagnose the problem please.

Hi there,

you might have wrongly placed the processor,the pins may have been damaged,please give more information on the processor,
