Can't get online

Hello,
I've got problem with my Packard Bell PC I can get online..When I do a snapsy test on my PC it says I have a problem with my phone line..But I use the same cables & phone line for the laptop & that connects to the internet no problem..Can anyone help me with this problem?

Problem solved..I needed to downlaod com3 driver, which i done on the PC manufacturers website..
