Hp pavillion dv6000

Hello,

ive got a hp pavillion dv6000 laptop and million times tried to restore it to its original settings tried f8 ctrl + f11 and its doesn't work please help me!!>.anyone!!...4ualone@att.net

Hi there,

If pressing the mentioned keys did not help you ,then you will definitely need to boot from your recovery discs to be able to restore it to factory default as it seems your recovery partition is either removed or modified.For more help feel free to revert back.

ive tried it before but now it doesnt work..im not really a technical person so be gentle with me..lol..
can you help me in simple words on what to do ..
i cant find my d drive .maybe i accidentally erased it or what not.is this the cause?
if it is is there a cd that i can buy where it will allow me to restore it to its original factory settings.
